Description: This instrument is a professional test instrument that simulates the specific process of chemical reactions on a liter scale, measures and controls important process variables. ERC-250 mL to 5L automatic reaction calorimeter is an automatic reaction calorimeter under laboratory conditions. It can simulate the real situation of intermittent or half-intermittent reactions in factories. It is widely used in reaction process design, process optimization and amplification, process safety assessment, etc. in the fields of fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals and third-party safety assessment. It supports multiple operation modes such as isothermal, constant temperature and scanning; the instrument realizes automatic feeding control through mass or volume measurement; the 

temperature control response speed is fast and the heat release measurement accuracy is high; the Chinese software platform can flexibly compile experimental processes, monitor key data of the reaction process in real time, and modify experimental processes and parameters online.
Users can measure the reaction heat flow of samples in the reactor in real time to obtain thermal behavior information such as total heat release, specific heat release, real-time conversion rate and material accumulation of the reactants, automatically calibrate the specific heat capacity and heat transfer coefficient of the material system, and calculate the adiabatic temperature rise of the target reaction and the maximum temperature that the system can reach after loss of control. Based on this, the risk of the reaction process can be evaluated to provide a basis for process optimization and scale-up of the target reaction.
Automated Reaction Calorimeter

Features

For the complex and changeable synthetic reaction processes in the fields of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, the reaction calorimeter can measure the real-time exothermic heat flow of the reaction system in the reactor to obtain thermal behavior information such as the total heat release, specific heat release, real-time heat conversion rate and material accumulation of the reaction, and calculate the adiabatic temperature rise of the target reaction and the maximum temperature (MTSR) that the system can reach after runaway. Based on this, the severity of the reaction runaway and the process hazard level are evaluated, providing a basis for process optimization and scale-up of the target reaction.
